Akashi-Tai Cherry Blossom Festival main

Akashi-Tai Sake Brewery warmly invites you to The Akashi-Tai Cherry Blossom Festival, the celebration of the arrival of spring!

The Akashi-Tai Cherry Blossom Festival is held in conjunction with London's leading Japanese restaurants, Bincho, Me Love Sushi, Saf, Saki, Sushinho and Tsuru. Each restaurant will feature a specially designed seasonal ‘Hanami’ menu paired with Akashi-Tai Sake and / or cocktail.

‘Hanami’ literally means “flower viewing”, and it is a tradition in Japan to enjoy the beauty of cherry blossom in the spring season. The Japanese picnic beneath the blossom of cherry trees accompanied with seasonal food and drinks.

During the Akashi-Tai Cherry Blossom Festival ‘Hanami Cards’ will be offered to customers when they order a Hanami menu at any of the participating restaurants. This card gives each customer entry into a free draw with a guarantee to win an Akashi-Tai prize, including Akashi-Tai mobile phone charms, Akashi-Tai Sake Tasting Sets and Tokiwa Cocktail Boxes.

The Akashi-Tai Cherry Blossom Festival will run from 15th April to 25th May 2009, inclusive. Some venues are also hosting individual events during this time to celebrate.
